Specsavers Project Sound

10 April 2024

After the initial brief we went to work and using our creative team we were able to understand the customer journey and ultimately we presented 8 potential designs that met the design brief.

The next step was to streamline these and take the best bits from the various designs to create 3 different more detailed concepts.

From the concept designs Specsavers were able to select a concept to move forward with, which then went into our technical development team where we turned the concept into a display that could be manufactured with technical manufacturing drawings produced.

A prototype was then produced, this allowed us to fully investigate how users would physically interact with the unit. This also helped determine the best options for visual merchandising and how the display would hold and allow access to the different products that Specsavers wished to display.

Once this was complete we were able to manufacture a first off disply unit which was installed into Specsavers Liverpool store.

Further smaller units (3 Bay) were also manufactured and installed across the UK and also in the Netherlands.

This project is a good example of how we are able to take a customer brief, complete some amazing creative ideas and ultimately turn them into a instore display that wowed customers and met the customers demands.

Early results from the Liverpool store suggest the unit has been a huge sucess with a significant increase in hearing tests booked for local customers.
